An ex-Barcelona coach has claimed the club took four years to settle the salary owed to him, while also confirming that a separate legal dispute with the La Liga side is still not resolved.
Speaking about his time dealing with the club after leaving, the former coach said he had to wait a long time before receiving his money, making it clear the process dragged on far longer than expected.
“Barcelona took four years to pay me!” he said, describing a drawn-out situation that only ended after a lengthy delay.
He also revealed that, despite that payment eventually arriving, there remains an ongoing legal battle with Barcelona. The ex-coach confirmed the case is still active, underlining that not all issues between the parties have been settled.
The comments add to the growing focus on Barcelona’s off-field matters, with the club continuing to face scrutiny over past financial obligations and disputes.
