Fulham have reportedly returned with an improved offer of $38 million for PSV striker and United States men’s national team forward Ricardo Pepi.
The Premier League club are said to have already had an earlier approach knocked back, but have now submitted a new bid as they push to land the 21-year-old this summer.
Pepi enjoyed a strong season in the Eredivisie with PSV and has also become an important option for the USMNT, which has only increased interest in his future.
PSV have not yet been confirmed to have accepted the latest proposal, but Fulham’s willingness to raise their offer underlines how highly they rate the striker.
The report states the new package is worth $38m, as Fulham continue talks in an attempt to persuade PSV to sell.
