The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has lodged an official protest over the late appointment of the refereeing team for Morocco’s upcoming match against Cameroon.

According to information revealed in the report, the FRMF expressed its concerns through formal channels, stressing that the delay in naming the match officials is not acceptable at this stage and does not help ensure the best conditions for the fixture.

The federation underlined that assigning the refereeing crew in due time is a basic requirement for transparency and for proper preparation, especially for a match of this importance involving Morocco and Cameroon.

The FRMF’s move comes as anticipation builds around the game, with the federation insisting that standard procedures must be respected and that all parties should be treated equally.

Morocco’s football governing body is now awaiting a clear response and the immediate announcement of the refereeing team for the Cameroon encounter.
