The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has responded to recent rumours about the possible dismissal of national team coach Walid Regragui.
In reaction to the reports circulating in recent days, the federation made it clear that there is no official decision to sack Regragui. The FRMF stressed that any information about the head coach’s position should only be considered reliable if it comes through its official channels.
The speculation intensified after Morocco’s recent results, with debate growing online around the future of the coach who led the Atlas Lions to a historic run at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
However, the federation’s message was direct: there is no confirmed move to remove Regragui, and the public should not treat unofficial claims as fact.
Regragui remains in charge as Morocco continue their preparations for upcoming international commitments.
