Morocco’s push to host the Africa Cup of Nations has gone beyond sport and is now being presented as a global model under study, according to an international report.
The report said “CAN Morocco” has turned into a case that attracts interest well outside football circles, as the way the project is being managed is viewed as an example of planning and organisation.
It added that the model is being examined in the presence of a delegation from the FBI, highlighting the scale of attention around the work being done.
The report focused on the wider impact of Morocco’s preparations, explaining that what started as a sporting bid has evolved into a broader national project built on clear planning, strong coordination and modern infrastructure.
Beyond stadium work, the same document pointed to improvements linked to transport, hospitality and services, saying the overall effort is being followed as a reference for major events.
In the same context, the international report underlined that Morocco’s approach is now seen as an organised framework capable of setting standards, with “CAN Morocco” no longer treated only as a football file, but as a complete model being studied internationally.
