Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior has said Mykhailo Mudryk will only return to training “when the moment is right”, as the winger remains unavailable amid an ongoing doping suspension.
Mudryk has not featured for Chelsea while the situation is dealt with, and suggestions that he is close to rejoining first-team sessions have been dismissed. The club has not confirmed any date for his return, with the focus still on the process running its course.
Speaking about Mudryk’s situation, Rosenior stressed the need for care and patience rather than rushing any steps. “When the moment is right,” he said, indicating there is no intention to put a timeline on the player’s comeback while the case remains unresolved.
The update comes as Mudryk continues to be linked with a possible return to the training ground, but those claims have been rubbished given the current suspension. Chelsea’s stance remains that any decision over his involvement will be made through the proper channels.
For now, Mudryk’s immediate future stays on hold, with Rosenior’s message clear: Chelsea will wait before bringing him back into the fold.
