Barcelona midfielder Gavi has provided an update on teammate Lamine Yamal’s condition following the injury the young winger suffered, while also addressing his own unfamiliar position on the pitch.
Speaking to the media after Barcelona’s latest match, Gavi confirmed that Yamal is recovering well after picking up a knock during the game. The 17-year-old star was forced off early, raising concerns among fans and staff alike.
“Lamine is fine. It was a scare more than anything serious,” Gavi said. “He felt some discomfort, but the medical team acted quickly. We expect him to be back with us soon.”
