The Senegalese Football Federation has broken its silence to denounce what it described as “false reports” circulating in recent days.
In an official statement, the federation rejected the information being shared and criticised the spread of rumours linked to Senegalese football. It stressed that these claims have no basis and called on the public to rely only on verified communication.
The federation said it will use its official channels to share any confirmed updates, and urged fans and media outlets to avoid relaying unconfirmed stories that can harm the image of Senegal football.
It also underlined that it reserves the right to take the necessary measures against anyone who continues to publish or promote misinformation.
The statement did not endorse any of the reports in circulation, insisting instead that only official announcements should be treated as accurate.
