Ruben Amorim has been sensationally accused of trying to “engineer” his exit from Manchester United by “blowing things up”, following his sacking from the Old Trafford job.

The claims came as scrutiny continued over what happened behind the scenes during Amorim’s short spell in charge of the Red Devils. According to the accusation, the former United boss did not simply struggle on the pitch, but was said to have taken steps that made his position untenable.

It has been alleged that Amorim attempted to force the situation to breaking point, effectively pushing the club towards an inevitable split. The language used in the accusation suggested the crisis was not only the result of poor results, but also of decisions and actions that escalated tension and instability.

Amorim, who had been tasked with improving performances and restoring momentum, ultimately left after being dismissed by the club. His departure has now been followed by a fresh wave of controversy as these claims about his conduct and intentions have emerged.

Manchester United have not made any official statement addressing the accusation, while the focus remains on how the club moves forward after another managerial change.
