Algerian commentator Hafid Derraji hailed what he described as Morocco’s “expected” qualification, stressing that the Atlas Lions have built a strong identity that does not depend on one or two stars.
Derraji said Morocco’s progress comes from the strength of the group, pointing out that the team can win and perform even without relying on standout names.
In his remarks, he underlined that Morocco are not a side that lives off a single striker, adding: “Not Osimhen, not Lookman,” as he praised the collective work and the depth in the squad.
Derraji also highlighted the role of stability and continuity in recent years, noting that the current project has made Morocco a more consistent team in major competitions and a regular contender for qualification.
He concluded by saying that what Morocco are achieving now is no surprise, describing their qualification as a logical outcome of their development and the balance they show across the pitch.
