Senegal have filed an official complaint about the organisation of the final of the Africa Cup, which is being held in Morocco.

The Senegalese federation says it has serious concerns about how the decisive match is being arranged, and has asked the organisers for clarity and action. According to Senegal, several issues around planning and communication have caused frustration in the build-up to the final.

The complaint has been lodged with the relevant authorities responsible for the tournament’s organisation. Senegal want the situation addressed quickly, so the final can go ahead under fair and proper conditions.

Morocco is hosting the tournament, with the final set to be played there. Senegal stressed that its message is aimed at improving the organisation and ensuring that all teams are treated equally.
