Morocco forward Ayoub El Kaabi has revealed how Moroccan fans welcomed the Senegal national team after their defeat in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations round of 16, stressing that the reaction showed respect and sportsmanship.
El Kaabi, who has been described as the “groom” of the AFCON final after scoring decisive goals, said Moroccan supporters did not respond with hostility following the dramatic exit.
