Moroccan internationals Achraf Hakimi and Yassine Bounou have secured a major financial reward after reaching the final of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Paris Saint-Germain, with Hakimi in the squad, beat Real Madrid 4-0 on Wednesday to book their place in the final. Al Hilal, represented by goalkeeper Bounou, followed on the other side of the bracket by winning 2-0 against Fluminense on Tuesday.
That means the two Moroccan stars are guaranteed a payout of 4 million dollars, as each finalist receives that amount from FIFA. The winner of the final will take 5 million dollars, while the losing side will remain on 4 million.
The Club World Cup final is scheduled for Sunday at MetLife Stadium, where PSG and Al Hilal will battle for the trophy and the extra prize money.
