Moroccan supporters’ group “Korvatchi” said they have been prevented from entering Algeria, as they prepared to back AS FAR (الجيش الملكي).
In a statement, the group announced that it had been informed of a decision banning its members from crossing into Algeria, without giving further details about the reasons behind the move.
Korvatchi added that the situation raises concerns over the safety of AS FAR’s delegation and its fans, and called on the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to step in and ensure protection for the club.
The group stressed that football should not be mixed with other issues, urging officials to guarantee normal conditions for travel and attendance, and to allow supporters to follow their team without restrictions.
