Egypt and Zamalek left-back Ahmed Fattouh has revealed he played while carrying an injury without the knowledge of national team coach Hassam Hassan, adding that Mohamed Salah later apologised to the squad for his previous comments.
Speaking about his recent situation with the national team, Fattouh said he took part despite not being fully fit, stressing that Hassan was not aware he was injured at the time.
Fattouh also addressed the recent debate involving Salah’s remarks, confirming that the Liverpool captain spoke to the players and apologised for what he had said.
