The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is expecting the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to generate unprecedented revenue, with Morocco set to host the tournament.

CAF President Patrice Motsepe confirmed that the commercial outlook for AFCON 2025 is stronger than ever, pointing to major progress in marketing and broadcasting rights compared to previous editions.

Motsepe said the upcoming tournament is on track to deliver record income for the competition, underlining CAF’s push to raise the value of its flagship event and improve financial returns across African football.

The CAF chief added that the organisation is working closely with its partners to maximise the tournament’s commercial potential, as preparations continue for AFCON 2025 in Morocco.
