Karim Adeyemi has insisted he is focused on reaching “the top” as transfer rumours continue to follow him and Borussia Dortmund’s contract talks remain at a standstill.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a possible move away from Signal Iduna Park, with his future becoming a talking point during a period in which Dortmund have not progressed negotiations over an improved deal.
Adeyemi, however, says his ambition is clear. “I have a clear goal,” he said, adding that he wants to get to “the top” as he looks ahead to the next steps in his career.
Dortmund signed Adeyemi from Red Bull Salzburg in 2022 and he remains under contract at the club, but the current freeze on discussions has only fuelled further talk about what comes next.
For now, Adeyemi is keeping his attention on his own development and performances, making it clear that external noise will not change his targets while his situation in Dortmund remains unresolved.
