Amoura apologises for insulting Congo fan

Algeria forward Mohamed Amoura has apologised after insulting a Congolese supporter, admitting he acted “like a child” during the incident.

Amoura addressed the situation in a statement shared on his official Instagram account, where he expressed regret over his behaviour and offered an apology to the fan involved.

“I made a mistake and behaved with the spirit of a child,” Amoura wrote. “I apologise to the Congolese fan I offended.”

The player added that he respects all supporters and stressed that what happened does not reflect his values, insisting he will learn from the moment and ensure it does not happen again.
