For the first time, the agent of Al-Hilal’s Portuguese coach, Jorge Jesus, has spoken publicly to clarify the ongoing rumors about his client’s future.
Nelson Anzagi, the representative of the 69-year-old manager, confirmed in exclusive statements that Jesus will not be leaving the Saudi capital club at the end of the current season. This comes amid widespread speculation linking Jesus with a departure following the conclusion of his contract in the summer of 2024.
“The news about Jorge Jesus leaving Al-Hilal is completely untrue,” Anzagi stated firmly. “He has a contract with the club until June 2024, and he will honor it fully. His focus, and the focus of the entire team, is solely on achieving the remaining objectives for this season.”
Anzagi emphasized the strong relationship between the coach and the club’s management, noting that discussions about a potential contract extension are a natural part of the process but are not currently the priority. “There is mutual respect between Jorge and the club’s board. Talks about renewing the contract will happen at the appropriate time, but now all energy is directed towards competing for titles,” he added.
Jorge Jesus took charge of Al-Hilal in the summer of 2023. Under his leadership, the team has performed strongly, leading the Saudi Pro League standings and remaining active in all domestic and continental competitions.
The agent’s statements put an end to the circulating rumors and provide clear confirmation of stability within the Al-Hilal coaching staff as the season enters its decisive phase.
