Hakimi and Vitinha’s status for Paris vs Bayern confirmed

Paris Saint-Germain have received a major double boost ahead of their Champions League showdown against Bayern Munich, with both Achraf Hakimi and Vitinha cleared to feature in the top-of-the-table clash.

The French champions travel to the Allianz Arena on Tuesday, November 26, 2026, for what promises to be a decisive fixture in the league phase of the competition. Head coach Luis Enrique now has his key duo available after fitness concerns had cast doubt over their participation.

Hakimi, the Morocco international right-back, had been nursing a muscular issue that kept him out of training sessions earlier this week. However, the club’s medical staff confirmed on Saturday that the 28-year-old has fully recovered and took part in the final team session without any restrictions.

Vitinha, the Portuguese midfielder, was also a doubt after picking up a knock during the weekend’s Ligue 1 fixture. Scans revealed no serious damage, and the 26-year-old has been given the green light to travel with the squad to Germany.

PSG currently sit third in the Champions League standings with 13 points from five matches, while Bayern occupy second place with the same tally. Victory for either side would put them in a commanding position to secure automatic qualification for the round of 16.

Luis Enrique is expected to field his strongest possible lineup, with Hakimi likely to start at right-back and Vitinha anchoring the midfield. The Spanish tactician confirmed in his pre-match press conference that both players are “100 percent ready” and have been included in the matchday squad.

Bayern, meanwhile, will be without the suspended Joshua Kimmich, who picked up his third yellow card of the group stage in the previous matchday. The German midfielder’s absence is seen as a potential advantage for PSG in the middle of the park.

Kick-off at the Allianz Arena is scheduled for 21:00 CET, with both teams aware that a win would all but seal a top-eight finish and avoid the playoff round in February.
