Kouora confirms Ramy Youssef’s suspension from Tanzania match

Moroccan defenders, wearing red and green kits, challenge a falling opponent during a heated World Cup match.

The Moroccan national team staff have clarified the situation surrounding Ramy Youssef after his absence from the match against Tanzania, rejecting claims that the player had rebelled or refused to follow instructions.

According to the information revealed, Youssef did not miss the Tanzania game due to any disciplinary issue, but because he was suspended and therefore not eligible to take part in the fixture.

The same clarification stressed that the player remained committed with the squad and that the decision to leave him out was strictly linked to the suspension, not to any internal problem.

Morocco’s preparations and decisions for the Tanzania encounter continued as planned, with the coaching staff focusing on the available options while confirming there was no truth to the reports of a dispute involving Youssef.
