Manchester City have booked a medical for Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo as they move closer to completing a £65 million transfer.
The 24-year-old is now on the brink of becoming Pep Guardiola’s latest signing, with the final steps of the deal being put in place after City and Bournemouth reached an agreement on the fee.
Semenyo is expected to undergo his medical shortly, with the arrangements already made as City look to wrap up the move as quickly as possible.
The development has also raised the possibility that Semenyo may have already played his final match for Bournemouth, with the winger set to leave after becoming one of the club’s key attacking players.
Bournemouth are now preparing for life without him, while City are closing in on a player they believe can add pace and direct running to their forward options.
The £65m deal is moving towards completion, pending the medical and the final paperwork.
