Man City wantaway set to complete £27m Premier League move

Manchester City are set to sanction a £27 million Premier League transfer for one of their wantaway players after he slipped down the pecking order.

The forward’s situation at the Etihad has changed following an Antoine Semenyo arrival, with the new signing adding further competition in attacking areas and leaving City ready to move the player on.

The deal is expected to be completed for £27m, with the player now closing in on a switch that would keep him in the Premier League.

City’s decision comes after the player made it clear he wanted a new challenge, and the club have been willing to listen to offers as his chances of regular minutes have reduced.

Semenyo’s addition has been the key factor in the reshuffle, pushing the wantaway man further down the list and effectively opening the door for a permanent exit.

With the transfer now moving towards completion, City are poised to finalise the move and allow the player to continue his career elsewhere in England’s top flight.
