Neil El Aynaoui is set to follow in the footsteps of his father, Younes El Aynaoui, by joining a Morocco squad for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The midfielder, who plays his club football in France, has been included as Morocco prepare for the tournament. It means the El Aynaoui name will again be part of Morocco’s Africa Cup story, years after his father represented the country.
Younes El Aynaoui, best known for his sporting career, previously turned out for Morocco and was part of their Africa Cup of Nations campaigns. Now his son is taking the same path at international level.
