New York Red Bulls are closing in on a deal to sign USMNT goalkeeper Ethan Horvath.
The 29-year-old is set to return to MLS with the Red Bulls in advanced talks to bring him in, with a move now nearing completion.
Horvath currently plays for Nottingham Forest, but has spent much of his time away from the Premier League side out on loan. He featured for Luton Town during their promotion push and later joined Cardiff City on loan.
The goalkeeper is best known to USMNT fans for his role in the 2021 CONCACAF Nations League final against Mexico, when he came on in extra time and saved a penalty in a dramatic 3-2 win.
The Red Bulls have been active in the market as they look to strengthen their squad, and talks over Horvath have moved quickly as the club targets more experience in key areas.
The transfer is not yet officially completed, but the Red Bulls are now close to finalising the agreement to bring Horvath back to the United States.
