Rats have been spotted inside Spotify Camp Nou just days after Barcelona’s newly renovated stadium suffered leaks during heavy rain, raising fresh questions about the state of the ongoing redevelopment.
Footage circulating online shows rodents running through areas of the stadium while work continues on the project. The sightings come shortly after videos emerged of water pouring into parts of the ground during a downpour, with the leaks clearly visible in the clips.
The incidents have added to the scrutiny on Barcelona’s rebuild, with the club still in the middle of a major renovation aimed at modernising Camp Nou. The latest images, first showing water getting into the stadium during rain and now rats appearing on site, have outlined some of the issues being faced as construction progresses.
Barcelona have not made any official comment on the videos.
