Richard Keys has broken his silence as he and Andy Gray prepare to leave beIN Sports after 13 years with the broadcaster.
Keys confirmed the news in a post on his personal blog, revealing that both he and Gray are set to depart at the end of the current season.
“It’s time,” Keys wrote, explaining that the long-running partnership is coming to a close after more than a decade covering football in the Middle East.
The veteran presenter also paid tribute to Gray, with the pair having worked together throughout their spell at beIN, fronting major coverage and becoming familiar faces for viewers across the region.
Keys did not give further details about their next moves, but his message made clear the decision has been made and their time with the network is nearing its end.
The announcement brings down the curtain on a 13-year stay at beIN Sports for Keys and Gray, one of the channel’s most established on-air duos.
