Morocco head coach Walid Regragui has promised that his team will do everything possible to avoid any surprises when they face Tanzania on Tuesday in the final round of Group F at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Regragui said the national team knows what is at stake and must approach the game with full focus, adding that the objective is clear: secure the win and finish top of the group.
“We will do everything in our power to avoid any surprise against Tanzania,” Regragui said, stressing that AFCON games are never easy and that respecting the opponent is essential, regardless of the standings.
The coach underlined that Morocco cannot afford to rely on past results and must keep the same intensity shown so far, especially in a tournament where small details can decide matches.
Regragui also pointed to the importance of managing the match well, staying patient, and making the right decisions at key moments, as Morocco aim to confirm their progress and move into the knockout stages in the best possible position.
Morocco meet Tanzania on Tuesday, with Regragui insisting his players are ready to deliver and close out the group stage in the right way.
