The Senegalese Football Federation has issued a strongly worded statement after what it described as serious organizational problems in Morocco ahead of the African final, warning that “justice” must be guaranteed.
In its statement, the federation said it was surprised by what happened before the final, pointing to confusion and arrangements that it believes did not meet the standards expected for a match of this size.
The Senegal FA warned that any continued chaos could affect the fairness of the competition, stressing that all teams must be treated equally and that the same rules and conditions should apply to everyone.
The federation also called on the responsible authorities to step in and correct the situation immediately, insisting that the final must be played in a calm environment that respects sporting principles.
It added that it would not accept any conduct that could lead to a lack of justice, and underlined that its position is aimed at protecting the integrity of the competition and the rights of its representatives.
