Tanzania head coach Hemed “Morocco” Suleiman admitted he feels real fear ahead of his side’s clash with Morocco, warning that the Atlas Lions have a “dangerous weapon” that can decide the game.
Speaking in comments reported ahead of the meeting, Suleiman pointed to Morocco’s strength on set pieces, stressing that dead-ball situations could be decisive against a team with attackers who know how to punish any lapse in marking.
“Morocco have a dangerous weapon, especially in set pieces,” Suleiman said, adding that his players must stay fully focused and avoid giving away unnecessary fouls near their own penalty area.
The Tanzanian coach also underlined the size of the challenge in facing a side packed with quality and experience, insisting his team will need strong discipline and concentration throughout the match if they are to compete.
Even so, Suleiman made it clear Tanzania are not travelling to simply take part, saying his squad will fight for the best possible result while respecting Morocco’s level and the threats they carry in key moments.
