Joao Cancelo has arrived in Barcelona as he closes in on completing a loan move from Al Hilal.
A video showed the Portugal international landing in the city, with the deal now set to be finalised after a delay caused by the Spanish Super Cup.
Cancelo is expected to complete the remaining formal steps to seal the temporary switch, with Barcelona moving quickly to bring him in on loan from the Saudi Pro League side.
The full-back’s arrival comes after the hold-up linked to the Super Cup schedule, but the process is now back on track as Barcelona push to get the paperwork finished.
Cancelo’s move would see him join Barcelona’s options at right-back, with the club aiming to wrap up the loan as soon as possible following his arrival in the city.
