Paris Saint-Germain and Morocco defender Achraf Hakimi has addressed the question of whether he will start Morocco’s upcoming match against Tanzania, just days before the game.
Speaking about his situation with the national team, Hakimi made it clear that the final decision will be made by the coaching staff, stressing that he remains ready to contribute whether he begins the match from the first minute or comes on later.
The 25-year-old underlined that the priority for him is the team’s result and performance, not individual status, adding that every player in the squad must be prepared to serve the group when called upon.
Morocco face Tanzania in their next fixture as the Atlas Lions continue their campaign, with Hakimi’s role expected to be one of the key talking points ahead of kick-off.
