Hamza Igamane has undergone surgery on his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), in a significant setback for the player as he begins a period of recovery away from the pitch.
The operation was carried out successfully, with the focus now turning to rehabilitation and the steps needed for him to return to full fitness.
Igamane is expected to start his recovery programme in the coming period, as the player and his medical staff work through the treatment plan following the procedure.
