Barcelona and Spain star Lamine Yamal has been named a Global Ambassador for American Eagle, with the partnership unveiled as the countdown to the 2026 World Cup continues.
The 17-year-old, who has already established himself as one of the standout young players in European football, will front campaigns for the fashion brand as part of the new agreement.
In a statement confirming the deal, Yamal said: “I couldn’t be more excited to begin this journey.”
The announcement adds another major off-field step for Yamal, whose rapid rise for club and country has made him one of the most recognisable faces of a new generation heading towards the tournament in North America.
American Eagle confirmed Yamal’s role as a Global Ambassador ahead of 2026, tying the collaboration to the build-up to the World Cup and positioning the winger as a key figure in its international branding.
The partnership is the latest sign of Yamal’s growing profile beyond the pitch, following his breakthrough at Barcelona and his impact with Spain, and it underlines how quickly he has moved from emerging prospect to global name.
