Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has opened up on whether Perrie Edwards will join him if he moves to Celtic, after the Little Mix star chose not to relocate during his time with Besiktas.
The former Liverpool and Arsenal midfielder is currently weighing up his next step, with Celtic among the options being discussed. And speaking about his personal plans alongside any potential transfer, Oxlade-Chamberlain made it clear there is no expectation that Edwards would automatically move with him.
He revealed that, during his spell in Turkey, Edwards did not move out to live with him while he was at Besiktas, and suggested a similar approach could apply again depending on what works for their family.
Oxlade-Chamberlain’s comments come as he considers the next chapter of his career, with the prospect of a new life in Glasgow being floated and fans wondering what it could mean off the pitch as well as on it.
For now, he insists any decision will be about getting the football right first, while making sure the arrangements at home remain settled — with Edwards’ own plans a separate conversation rather than a given.
