Tottenham have sacked Thomas Frank as head coach after a dismal run of results left the club without a win in eight matches.
The decision was taken following mounting pressure on the Dane, with Spurs’ form continuing to slide and the team failing to turn performances into victories across a lengthy spell.
Frank, who was appointed with the task of pushing Tottenham back towards the top end of the Premier League, ultimately paid the price as the winless sequence dragged on and results did not improve.
The club have now moved to make a change in the dugout, ending Frank’s time in charge after the eight-game run proved decisive.
Tottenham have not yet confirmed who will take over on a permanent basis, as the search for a successor begins in the wake of Frank’s dismissal.
