Wrexham’s unbeaten run came to an end as they missed the chance to move closer to the Championship play-off places, going down 2-1 to Norwich.
The Red Dragons went into the game in confident form but were handed a setback as Norwich struck first to put the visitors under pressure. Wrexham tried to settle and play their way back into the contest, yet Norwich continued to ask questions with their movement and tempo.
Wrexham did respond and managed to get themselves back into the match, giving the travelling support hope of extending their run. But Norwich found another way through, restoring their advantage and forcing Wrexham into chase mode for the remainder of the game.
As the match wore on, Wrexham pushed for an equaliser and looked for openings, but the chances they needed did not arrive often enough. Norwich stayed organised and saw the game out, leaving Wrexham to reflect on a defeat that halted their momentum at a key moment in the season.
The 2-1 loss means Wrexham missed the opportunity to close the gap on the Championship’s play-off positions, with their unbeaten streak now over after a tough test against Norwich.
