Manchester United youngsters Dan Gore and Daniel Oyegoke are set to leave Old Trafford on loan, with both expected to head into the Championship.
The pair were previously at Sporting CP, where former boss Ruben Amorim was not shy in his assessment of them during their time in Lisbon. Now, United are preparing to send them out again as they look for regular first-team football in England.
The move comes as part of United’s ongoing work to find the right development pathway for academy and young senior players, with Championship minutes seen as the next step for Gore and Oyegoke.
Both players are understood to be closing in on temporary exits, with talks progressing over loan deals that would take them away from United for the season.
Further details on their destinations are expected to be confirmed once agreements are finalised, but the expectation is that both Gore and Oyegoke will spend the campaign in the second tier.
