The Congolese Football Federation has thrown its support behind referee Jean-Jacques Ndala following criticism from Morocco after recent officiating decisions.

In an official statement, the federation said it “strongly condemns” what it described as a campaign targeting Ndala, insisting the match official has been subjected to “unjustified attacks” and “pressure” because of calls linked to Moroccan football.

The federation stressed that Ndala remains an international referee who has represented Congo in major competitions, and it called for respect toward match officials. It also urged the relevant bodies to protect referees from any form of harassment and to ensure the proper conditions for them to carry out their duties.

The statement added that the federation stands “fully” with Ndala and will take the necessary steps to defend him, while warning against attempts to influence referees through public pressure.
