Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been handed favourable ties in the FA Cup fourth round draw, while non-league Macclesfield will host another Premier League club as their fairytale run continues.
The draw was made after the third-round ties, setting up a new set of fixtures for the next stage of the competition. Several top-flight sides avoided meeting each other, with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and City all kept away from the toughest possible opponents at this point.
Macclesfield, one of the lowest-ranked teams left in the tournament, were rewarded with a home tie again. They will welcome further Premier League opposition, giving the fans another huge occasion and a potential upset to dream about.
The fourth round is scheduled to be played later this month, with clubs now turning their attention to balancing league commitments with a place in the last 16.
With big names given a clearer route on paper and smaller clubs handed another shot at making history, the draw has set up a weekend of matches that will again put the spotlight on the magic of the FA Cup.
