Morocco coach Walid Regragui admitted that the national team’s latest win came with a “bitter” feeling, despite picking up the result.
Speaking in comments shared after the match, Regragui said Morocco achieved the victory, but it did not fully satisfy him, stressing that the overall performance left mixed emotions.
The Atlas Lions secured the win and continued their campaign, yet the head coach made it clear that there were details that worried him and kept him from celebrating completely.
Regragui pointed out that Morocco have to improve in the coming period, adding that the team must correct mistakes quickly as the level of competition rises.
He also underlined that the technical staff will work on fixing what went wrong, insisting that Morocco cannot rely on the score alone and must deliver a stronger display in the next outings.
