Algeria striker Islam Slimani has praised the conditions provided in Morocco, saying the atmosphere there feels closer to Europe compared to what he experienced before.
Speaking openly, Slimani said that in the past the Algerian national team used to stay in hotels that were not fully completed, a situation he contrasted with the standards he found in Morocco.
“We used to stay before in unfinished hotels, and the atmosphere in Morocco is closer to Europe,” Slimani said, stressing the clear difference in organisation and comfort.
His comments have quickly drawn attention, as they came as a direct recognition of Morocco’s facilities and the general environment surrounding training camps and preparations.
