Egyptian football analyst Khaled Beyoumi said he was impressed by the support shown by Morocco fans, but stressed that one incident from the stands “cannot be justified.”
Beyoumi spoke about the atmosphere created by the Moroccan crowd, praising their passion and the strong backing they give their teams, saying it left a clear mark on him.
However, he underlined that the behaviour that drew criticism during the match was not acceptable, insisting there is no excuse for such actions even in the heat of competition.
In his comments, Beyoumi separated between the positive image of the fans’ presence and the negative moment that sparked controversy, calling for support to stay within the boundaries of respect.
He added that football must remain a space for enjoyment and fair rivalry, and that scenes that cross the line take away from the game and damage its image.
